In my bed

 we lie,

all three of we,

a clone,

a ghost,

 and me,

pain roars for battle,

against

my unseen enemy,

to inflict,

the same,

 as was

dealt to me,

my spirit prances,

eager for a war,

lost,

before it begins.

against an apparition,

for a clone,

I do not know,

we dine,

my bond,

his shackles,

next to me,

across from me,

beside the moon and stars,

he sits,

a mannequin,

blood red,

 painted on grin,

I touch,

 but do not feel,

I speak,

 He grins,

here we lie,

a clone,

 lying beside,

a ghost,

who lies,

 next to me

Taunting

 teasing

hinting

toying

daring

we dance

entwined

in

lustful tussle

back

forth

in

deep within

waves lick

constantly

until I’m consumed

insecurity

and

jealousy

making love to me

An old poem I wrote years ago and found while spring cleaning. I have two with the same title.

7X7 Link Award

7x7 link award, awards, Blog, Blog award, blogger awards, bloggers, links, WordPress

There is nothing more uplifting then being rewarded for what you love doing. I have been blessed by Lauren of LScott Poetry

Thank you my friend for this award.

Like most Blog Awards there are rules that must be met upon acceptance of the award.

1. I must tell you something about myself that nobody knows

2. Must give seven links fitting the below categories

3. nominate 7 bloggers

So here goes,

1. Something nobody knows…I am addicted to Travel, Photography and Food blogs. I can read blog after blog for hours and I do it late at night when the bubs and my hero are sleeping. I have travelled the world through the blogs I follow and cooked up a storm. I wish…..not so great in the cooking department but that’s another story for another day. As for the Photography blogs…I love looking. A beautiful landscape image can quiet the soul and reminds me that the best things in life are free.

2. Here are the 7X7 links I feel fit the categories listed below:

Most Beautiful Piece:  http://achingforpng.wordpress.com/2010/10/14/homecoming/

Most Helpful: I hope most of my poems on abuse are helpful as they highlight issues however Error of her ways is the one I would say is the best fit here.

Most Popular: Soul Sight

Most Controversial:  http://achingforpng.wordpress.com/2011/08/29/revenge-of-a-parent/

Most Surprisingly Successful: Lovemaking Soulbreaker

Most Underrated: Don’t walk away

 Most Pride Worthy:  http://achingforpng.wordpress.com/2011/11/23/please-daddy-dont-hit-me-again/

Now I need to nominate 7 bloggers (in no particular order)

Choosing only a few blogs from the many I’ve have discovered was hard but I have a lot of awards to give out I’ll spread the love. The blogs below  I like and hope that after you visit them, you too will like them as well.

1.  http://somkritya.wordpress.com/ - Soma

2.  http://Willowdot21.wordpress.com  -Willow

3.  http://mikepillowsphoto.wordpress.com/ – MikeP

4. http://dribblingpensioner.wordpress.com/ – Harry

5. http://onwindydays.wordpress.com/

6. http://totheendofhope.wordpress.com/ -Sherryn

7. http:///lifebitsstyletips.wordpress.com/  -Yannique

Thats all for tonight.  I hope I did it right and see you tommorrow.

Attemped Coup in Papua New Guinea

To my dear Jen and all my friends.

I am fine. We all are. I have been sitting monitoring all day glued to the TV and listening to the radio. When I got an email about Jen’s new post on her blog http://steponacrack.wordpress.com

Thank my dear dear friend for your prayers and thoughts.

I deleted the first post I wrote upon advice to tread carefully.  I was told  not to incit worry and panic.  If anything deleting the post incited more worry then writing it. I should have known better.  To my friends overseas I am sorry.

Yesterday there was an attempt coup.

These are links that Jen had on her blog,

Soldiers oust PNG defence chief amid power struggle

Mutiny Leader Demands New Papua New Guinea Gov’t

While they say it is over, in Papua New Guinea you learn early on in life to expect the unexpected. So I’ll wait to see what happens.

I sit here wondering how long my fellow country men & women will take it before they start doing instead of watching. It doesn’t take long for unrest to spread.

Two men fighting over who is the Prime Minister while a country needs to be run..total rubbish.

Thank you for your prayers. Yesterday we prayed as well over the phones, with our neighbours and with our families.

The clowns

Up on the tree sits several clowns,

bring them down,

oh bring them down,

minions sit at their feet,

catering for their every whim,

swinging from tree to tree,

at the stump,

faceless weep,

in the villages,

in the streets,

begging for their every need,

Up on the tree sits several clowns,

bring them down,

oh bring them down.

In all honesty I am so deeply angry and I think a lot of my fellow country people are as well.

May God be with you always.

Thank you again,

Maiya

SAME AS HE

 Stream of life,

flowing through me,

capsize for all to see,

the same in me,

as he,

did not he who made him,

make me,

didn’t the heart that molded him,

shape me,

the womb that carried him,

hold me,

cut this shroud that covers my bones,

the same as his own,

drum of life beating in me,

stronger in me,

than in he,

so why,

him,

and not me

*******

I am a woman so I belong to my husband’s people according to my custom.  In PNG it differs across the provinces. So everything my dad has will be passed to his sons. I can not go home to my village unless widowed  or divorced. While other woman have they are at the mercy of their brothers. As for me, I have found my own way. I am happy with my life but sometimes it hurts.

I tried to stay away but couldn’t. This is my outlet, this is my vent. Thank you for all your comments. I cherish them.

Here I am,
child of ten,
thrashed until,
I can barely stand,
told not,
to cry,
to suck it up,
again and again,
taught to be,
a real man,
beaten,
because she can,
here I am,
an angry,
violent man,
broken,
by my mother’s hand.

In my mouth,
a thorn,
I must speak,
to you,
the price you insist,
I pay for us,

me,
who Love,
stomped and threw,
down,

shattered,
must gather,
whats left,
dress it up,
and give,

you are,
but a stranger,
to the world,
of which I know,

words,
cannot go into,
the depths of you,
and,
make you,
feel nor taste,
what was,
dealt to me,

or,
show,
I hunted in,
windswept emotional deserts,
dived the blackest,
deepest trenches,
to find some,
of the missing pieces of me,
cast there,
by Love,
so casually,

Words,
Words,
Words,
Look,
LOOK,
and see,
tis not cement, brick or glass,
that make this be,
a haven,
for you and me,

It is not duty
that quickens,
my feet,
or makes them skip,
or me laugh
my way
to you,

that makes,
my eyes,
feast and hunger for,
you long into the night,

that makes me,
ache,
for the,
timbre of your voice,

can you not see,
my heart,
jump,
whirl,
laugh wildly,
with mad mad joy,
at the,
crook of your smile,
at the bellow you call laughter,

Is that not,
this,
of which you would have me,
speak

Is it enough,
to still your heart,
and
your feet,
for me,
to say instead

No matter how high the mountain,
No matter how wide the ocean,
Or how hot the desert,
Or how dark the night

I will climb, swim, trudge and stumble
until I finally lay my head,
beside you,

for
you,

YOU are home to me.

yeah umm..it’s long I know. Pls tell what you think. Yeah romantic me and me don’t hang out often so yeah trying. Gonna close my eyes now hit the publish button.

HEAR ME

HEAR ME

Hear my silent plea,
wave your wand,
break the spell,
slay the specter,
that blooms inside of me,

a creature born,
from a single roar,
nurtured on many more,

fed on,
an eye-popping choke,
a bone cracking punch,
an icy cold knife tip,
on a wet trembling cheek,

gather your sword,
crash through the door,
vanquish the demon,
residing in me,

slithering,
spiraling,
in the depths,
of me,

planting roots,
immobilizing me,

talons prick,
squeeze,
my heart,
I can barely breathe,

possesses me,

walking me back
when I need to flee,

binds my mouth,
when I should scream,

lie,
lie,
smile,

knock on my door,
see the perfection,
look into my eyes,
see this monster,
inside of me,

and save me.

WALKING TALKING CHRISTMAS TREE

In his eyes,
she sees a feed,
a walking talking,
Christmas tree,
all he wants,
is an hour,
or two or three,
to do anything,
he please,
in front of a camera,
so for a fee,
others can watch,
an innocent bleed,
for a pile of dough,
that makes her eyes glow,
he takes the baby,
her in tow,
to the hotel,
down the road,
past the beggars,
and the whores,
turns on the camera,
shuts the door,
while she tells another,
for the same amount,
when the 10yr old comes out,
he too can have a go
